I went to the Nuyorican Poets' Cafe on Friday. It was... incredibly awesome.
(I'd love to read there one day but I'm scared shitless. I think I might be too young, anyway)

Quick thought.
I was reading Scientific American the other day and there was a short news article entitled "Within Any Possible Universe, No Intellect Can Ever Know It All" [link]
Aside from this being very interesting by itself, it's also applicable to various other things... My first thought was movies.
I've never been able to connect to movies as well as books, music, etc. and I think that it's because movies enclose so much that it's hard for them to get out of the box they've made for themselves.
There are other reasons, too; some that are probably more plausible...
